The Kopacko Family was such an utter treat to photograph. We met in Paxton at the Moore State Park and memorized their last couple of weeks as a family of 3. How exciting. We thought it would be all the more special to capture their essence on both 35mm and 120 film for this maternity photo session. Steph doesn't shy away from grain, and organic feeling imagery - so you can imagine how ecstatic I was! And if you ask me, the results are unlike what you would get with digital. There is just something about being in the moment, not being able to check the back of a screen ... and to just be present. Not being able to get much of a preview is making picture day feel like Christmas, too!
